First you will need DXWnd

Then you extract the file to your destination for me it will be this folder Or you can right click and left click to extract here to extract the file to its current location.

Now Double Click DXWnd and wait for it to open.

Then left click on edit and left click on add.

Then left click on the button thats shows (...)

After that You look for your client and Double Click THe MapleStory/PrivateMS client.

It should take you back to the Target Setup, Then you click on The DirectX8 to hook.

Click Ok and RUn your CLient and Your client should be windowed

How can you be sure that they wont design the launcher to auto DXWnd like the last ums one?

This doesn't work if you're running vista. You'd need to run it in compatibility mode first, which may not even work -_-

funny when i run in vista i dont need the compatability and it works

I am pretty sure that the new launcher will include a window mode. I loved the the UMS launcher Rory designed by the way. It looked really cool.
